Dr. Lashgari has an extensive interest in conditions affecting the shoulder and elbow. He joined the team of orthopaedists at The Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center in August 2002, coming directly from the completion of a one year fellowship in Shoulder and Elbow at the Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Dr. Lashgari completed medical school at the New York University's School of Medicine in 1996. He graduated with the Glover C. Arnold Surgical Award and honors from the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Society. His residency in orthopaedic surgery was completed at the Washington University's Department of Orthopaedics in 2001. There he was awarded the Resident Teachers Award, and was a member of the Education Committee since 1997.
Dr. Lashgari is an associate member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He was Board Certified in July 2004 by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Courses attended during his fellowship year include the Vail Orthopaedic Symposium; the AAOS Annual Meeting; Mayo Upper Extremity Fellowship Course and the American Shoulder & Elbow's Society meeting.
Dr. Lashgari is married with 2 sons.
